Custom woven labels are used in with a wide variety of products and it is likely that you come into contact with a product that uses them at some point in the day. If there is a favorite ball cap, it likely has some writing on it and that is generally achieved through the use of labels that are woven right onto the fabric of the hat. Looking in the linen closet will likely find towels or wash clothes that have prints woven onto them.

There are different styles of thread that are used in creating custom woven labels and they include damask, half damask, satin, and taffeta. Half damask uses thread half the size of damask. Damask tends to offer the widest range of colors with the greatest quality images. Taffeta labels tend to use the threads for the background and damask is used for the design, but taffeta is generally the scratchiest of custom woven labels.
